What did they wear for Halloween?

So in my consistent pursuit of fun images to use on my blog I found this and wondered if perhaps this might be what McCain and Obama would dress up as for Halloween?

And what would that say about them?

Spiderman (Obama):

Spidey’s might makes him deadly in hand-to-hand combat, which is his main form of direct attack. He uses strength with his spider-sense and speed in combat, making him extremely hard to surprise, harder to hit, and even harder to withstand. Spidey can go toe-to-toe with a lot of villans in the Marvel universe, and has even held his own against the Hulk from time to time (without the Captain Universe power, even).

BARACK OBAMA: Spider-Man: ”The guys who have too many powers, like Superman, that always made me think they weren’t really earning their superhero status. It’s a little too easy. Whereas Spider-Man and Batman, they have some inner turmoil. They get knocked around a little bit.”

Batman (McCain):

Unlike many superheroes, Batman has no superpowers and instead relies on “his own scientific knowledge, detective skills, and athletic prowess. “In the stories Batman is regarded as one of the world’s greatest detectives. In Grant Morrison’s first storyline in JLA, Superman describes Batman as “the most dangerous man on Earth,” able to defeat a team of superpowered aliens all by himself in order to rescue his imprisoned teammates. He is also a master of disguise, often gathering information under the identity of Matches Malone.

JOHN McCAIN: Batman: ”He does justice sometimes against insurmountable odds. And he doesn’t make his good works known to a lot of people, so a lot of people think he’s just a rich playboy.”

The people over here have a constant tally going of who would win in a Spiderman vs Batman situation. It looks like Batman has the lead.

on a side note. While showing costumes, I thought Piper and Trig were absolutely adorable for Halloween. Must have been a popular year for Snow Princesses, my daughter was one too!

Then I saw this horrible nastiness that was mentioned over at Wonkette. People are really low to go after a baby. Real classy.
